Stops: • Caxadaço • Parnaioca • Aventureiro • Meros • Lunch Stop Caxadaço Beach One of Ilha Grande's jewels! Caxadaço is a true aquarium, a small and hidden beach between Lopes Mendes and Dois Rios. It's just over 20m of sand, surrounded by rocks and lots of Atlantic forest. For adventurers, on the left side of the beach it's possible to jump from a large rock, undoubtedly a special attraction. For those who enjoy snorkeling, the sensation is like diving in an aquarium. Parnaioca Beach Just over 1km long, white sands and sea with various shades of blue. Arriving at Parnaioca Beach is a unique sensation. Located in the southern part of the island, preserved and wild, Parnaioca is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful. On the right side of the beach flows the beautiful and refreshing Parnaioca River. Parnaioca used to have the second largest settlement in Ilha Grande, which decreased during the time of Dois Rios prison. Today few residents inhabit this paradise. Aventureiro Beach For many, the most beautiful in Ilha Grande. Aventureiro beach is truly stunning, its famous lying coconut tree is a special charm. It's approximately 600m of white sand and rough sea, which makes this beach a paradise for surfers. On the right side the sea is calmer, forming wonderful pools. The fishing village offers some services, such as camping sites and local restaurants. Meros Beach The stunning and isolated Meros Beach is inaccessible by trail and totally isolated. It's located between Provetá Beach and Aventureiro and can only be reached through boat tours. The beach of white and fine sand has a unique shade of green that leaves visitors open-mouthed upon arrival. Meros is a paradise in all aspects, but for diving it's one of the best, with immense submerged rocks, it's a haven for fish, turtles, starfish etc.
