Returns just once, ~5:30pm. Miss it and you leave via Conceição or Angra.

Ferry + public bus, no online booking: you pay on the spot. Leave in the morning, arrive mid-afternoon.

Ferry to Angra dos Reis
Leaves 10:00 every day · 90 min · R$ 20.50. No booking: be at the pier by 9:45.

Walk to the Colitur bus stop
~15 min along the waterfront from Cais da Lapa. All flat.

Colitur bus L101 to Paraty
~2 h · R$ 23, pay on board. The one that connects with the ferry leaves at 12:40.
Schedules change: check the bus before you leave. Door to door: ~5 h and R$ 43.50 per person.

Money

There's no reliable ATM. Bring all the cash you'll need from the mainland, with a margin.
Almost everywhere takes Pix and cards, but kiosks, boats and stalls are cash only.
Tourism tax: have your booking and passport handy. The current fee is R$ 50.

The village

There are no cars: everything on foot, by water taxi or cart. A backpack beats a suitcase.
Cell signal dies outside the village: download the offline map before any trail and tell reception.
Oct–Mar: calm seas, best for boats and snorkelling. May–Sep: dry and cool, best for trails. First day looks good? Book the Round-the-Island that day.
